Our friends at wallethub.com are at it again. This time as we head for the 4th Of July and Independence Day celebrations, they’ve done a new survey to find the most patriotic states in America.
Wallethub.com took into consideration metrics like each state’s number of voters in the 2016 election, how many military enlistees come from each state, the number of veterans who live there, volunteerism and things like that. With that in mind, Wallethub.com concluded that the MOST PATRIOTIC state in America is…….
NEW HAMPSHIRE, followed by WYOMING, IDAHO, ALASKA and MARYLAND rounding out the top 5. The rest of the top 10 are, UTAH, NORTH DAKOTA, WISCONSIN, MINNESOTA and SOUTH CAROLINA. NEBRASKA came in near the middle of the pack at number 28.
The bottom 10, and therefore the LEAST PATRIOTIC states are NEW JERSEY at #50, then NEW YORK, CALIFORNIA, TEXAS, WEST VIRGINIA, FLORIDA, NEW MEXICO, CONNECTICUT, MICHIGAN and ILLINOIS!
While NEBRASKA was at #28, other states around us include IOWA-#29, COLORADO-#23, KANSAS-#35 and SOUTH DAKOTA-#33. What do you think of this survey?
