I won’t be here for Friday Feel Good Feature this week. So, I’ll do an inspiring story tonight.
Timothy Harrison is an 18 year old who’s had a rough time this last year. He also has a solid work ethic and a bunch of co-workers who recognize that and care about him.
He graduated high school this year. Commencement was a couple weeks ago. But, Timothy didn’t have the money for a gown, a cap, or even tickets for family to attend. He doesn’t even have a car to get him the miles across town to be there himself. So, Timothy showed up at work that day instead.
The people he works with weren’t having it. They pooled their money and bought him slacks, a shirt, and a tie. They took care of the cost of the cap and gown. And one drove him the 20 miles to make sure he walked across that stage. It was some amazing generosity considering Timothy had only been working there for a month.
Since, he’s been offered a full scholarship including books at a community college in his area.
