My friends at The Lincoln Tree Of Hope are getting together with Butterfly Bakery for a back to school fundraiser.
Last year, a lot of B 107.3 listeners helped me collect a ton of stuff to give to the Lincoln Tree Of Hope during the pandemic. Then they distributed it all to people in need around Lincoln. They’re not a huge organization. They’re based here in Lincoln. And, you can help families out for back to school supplies during this fund raiser.
It’s easy. Go to The Butterfly Bakery this Saturday between 9 and 2. Buy a delicious cake or brownie or cupcakes, or breakfast pastries……. Now I’m hungry………. Or even some of their “Pup Cakes” for your furry family members. Get whatever makes your tummy smile. Then, Butterfly Bakery will donate 10% of the sales to The Lincoln Tree Of Hope.
The funds will be used to buy backpacks, lunch bags, and other school supplies.
To sum it up, you’ll be helping a local small business to help a local non- profit to help kids around Lincoln.
