Billions Of Burgers

I heard a spot for a restaurant chain this morning where the guy talked about having served billions. It jogged a memory from when I was probably about 7 or 8. I remember seeing the McDonalds sign in little ol’ Scottsbluff, Nebraska and reading “Over 3 million Served”. I specifically remember that number because it blew my little kid mind that much of anything could ever be sold. Especially growing up in a town of 16,000.
According to Google, that number is over 300 billion today.
There’s a website called “Every Second”. They have a page that shows how many burgers, fries, happy meals, and other stuff McDonalds sells every second. It keeps a count as you watch. In 30 seconds it was up to 1,000 pounds of fries. Watch it at this link.
