Mickey Rourke is out as the bad guy in the new MacGruber tv series. Oh yeah, there’s apparently a MacGruber TV series. It’s coming to the Peacock streaming service. I mean, they can’t use characters from Marvel or DC or………. Anything really. So, they’re going with MacGruber. MacGruber is their best shot at a super hero.
If you haven’t noticed from my show, I’m not a fan of Peacock. They advertise it as free shows. But how it works for a lot of them is that they let you watch one episode of something for free and then charge you to see the rest. That’s bait and switch.
Anyway, Billy Zane is stepping in as the main bad guy on MacGruber now. Somehow they also got Sam Elliott and Lawrence Fishburne to be in the series too. I don’t have a date for the premiere, but they’ve been promoting it as 2021 for 8 months now.
