Mariah Carey is joining the likes of Snoop Dogg, George Clooney, and numerous other celebrities who slap their names on alcohol. Maria is launching a line of Irish cream called Black Irish. She announced it on Twitter Monday with a picture of her on the beach in an evening gown, laying next to a bottle of Irish cream in the sand. The caption says, “Two years in the making. Truly a cause for celebration.” There will be 3 flavors; white chocolate made with Belgium chocolate, salted caramel, and original. All with “superior dairy sourced from Irish farms. They are reportedly crafted in Ireland with 50 percent renewable energy. The name Black Irish is actually a nod to Mariah’s heritage. Her father was black and her mother is Irish. A regular 750 milliliter bottle costs $30.
