Looks like Will Smith is taking notes from Keanu Reeves, because on the set of his latest film, “King Richard,” he gave his co-stars cash bonuses, straight from his pocket! Will’s reported salary for the film, $40 million, so he wrote out a few checks to those starring along side him such as Saniyya Sidney and Demi Singleton, who play his daughters in the film, as well as Tony Goldwyn, Jon Bernthal and Aunjanue Ellis, and several others, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Will wasn’t just feeling jealous, it appears he may have been trying to help his fellow actors pockets since Warner Bros changed how the film was to be released and are releasing it jointly in theaters and on HBO Max (WB has a deal to release all of it’s 2021 movies on the streaming site) on November 19th.
Will plays the father of Venus and Serena in the film, he also is the film’s producer.
