Puppy Bowl is releasing their own NFTs.
I still don’t 100% understand NFTs. I know they’re digital art that come in limited quantity, that you can’t get anywhere else, and people are paying a lot of money for them. They seem like the promotional magnets of the internet, but I don’t understand what you actually do with them.
That said, I went to Puppy Bowl’s website and tried to get one of the free NFTs. They’d given away all 5,000 in seconds. They still have plenty of the ones you pay for though. They want 20 bucks for a picture of a dog I don’t know. Sure, they made it look like a sports card, but so what?
But, if you’re into it, they’re supposed to have 23 unique cards to collect by the time the big game rolls around on February 13. Also, the $20 is for the “common” card. They’ll have cards that are more rare that will cost even more over the next few weeks.
HERE IS THE WEBSITE to get the Puppy bowl NFTs from the Discovery Channel.
This video actually helps to understand what NFTs are. I still don’t see the point. You can’t do anything in the real world with them.
