Watch creepy, AI enhanced, “female” robot at CES lay some smack on guy asking if she has boyfriend.

A company brought a next generation AI robot to the Consumer Electronics Show. Its name is Ameca and she’s creepy looking to watch as she tries to talk, buuuuut, she does talk well and seems to be able to hold her own in a conversation. She exhibits the ability to understand linguistic context an sarcasm. She even dished some jokes out on her own. For example, one guy asked if she has a boyfriend. She turned it around on him, saying she’s not on the market and then asking if he has a boyfriend and when he didn’t answer, she said, “I’ll take that as a yes” while everyone laughed at the guy. The company that made her is called Engineered Arts. Their press release says Ameca “represents the forefront of human-robotics technology.” The forefront of creepy human robotics.
