This past weekend I made a promise to myself to not do too much of anything, because I was still exhausted from traveling and hadn’t taken anytime off. So that’s exactly what I did, not much. My weekend consisted of binging shows and napping. Ordinarily I feel so guilty for not doing anything but I gave myself a pep talk and “we” decided it was much needed 😂😂.
One of the series that I decided to binge this weekend was “The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window.” If you couldn’t tell by it’s ridiculously long name, it’s a parody of all of those mystery movie shows, like “Girl on the Train,” or “The Woman in the Window.”
It’s as ridiculous as it is genius. It really is a fantastic spoof. If you didn’t know any better you might think that this was a serious murder-mystery, it’s not. Some parts literally had me laughing out loud. I then had to call my mom, who had already watched it, to discuss it! We couldn’t help but chuckle at it’s insanity. Kristen Bell is an underrated comic genius. I suggest if you are a fan of this genre, definitely check it out.
