If you’re a data analyst, man or woman, who is religious, likes watching TV, and lives in a town, then you are the most boring person in the world according to a new scientific study. The finding comes from compiling data from 5 different studies of hundreds of people. The findings rely mostly on people’s perceptions. Not only did they find the most boring stuff, but they also put together a list of the most exciting jobs. Journalism came in 3rd. Number 2 is Science. And the most exciting job is Performing arts according to this study. The top three most boring jobs are Insurance at 3, Accounting at 2, and Data Analysis at number 1. The study was done at the University of Essex, a very boring sounding college. I bet if they’d done this in the United States, the exciting results would be totally different. I’m sure Fireman or Rock Star would be in the top 5.
