Tonight’s inspiring story is a lesson in pursuing your dreams no matter what age. 5 year old Bella Dark wants to be an author. I should say, Bella is an author now. A published author with more than 5,000 copies of her book sold.
It all started when she was 4 and proclaimed to her parents that she was going to write a book. Her parents did the usual “that would be great dear” thing with encouragement, but, you know, the kid was 4. They say things like that and “I’m going to the moon tomorrow” all the time.
Then, she actually wrote a story called “The Lost Cat”. She also painted the pictures for the book. Her folks threw it together at home and took it to a book fair where a person there said they’d publish it. Then copies sold on Amazon and digitally. When it went over the 2,000 mark, Bella, received the honor of becoming the world’s youngest published author by Guinness. Bella says she’s going to work on another book soon.
