Your fashion choice could bring on more mosquito bites.

Do you spend the summer constantly getting bitten by mosquitoes? Change your clothes. A new study has determined that common mosquitoes like to fly towards specific colors and fly away from others. They like red which is pretty much the color our skin gives off to them. The tested the insects in chambers with colored dots. They wouldn’t pay attention to the green, blue, or purple dots. But, they liked red as well as orange and black. There are other things that will make you attractive to mosquitoes: your breathe, sweat, and temperature of skin. The more B.O. you have, the more they like that. So shower. The fact that we exhale carbon dioxide attracts them. It’s a cue that sets them off. So, nothing we can really do about that unless you can hold your breath for a really long time and make everyone else around you do it too. And they like us better if our skin is warmer. So, basically stay inside with the air conditioning.
