This is how the war of machines and man begins………. With a robot breaking a 7 year old’s finger. The boy was playing chess against the robot last week in Moscow. The kid was being kind of impatient and I think had been warned before the match. You see, the robot had made a move and took one of the kid’s pieces off the board. The 7 year old immediately moved another one of his pieces onto that spot before the robot had finished making its move. So, the robot grabbed the kid’s finger and started pinching on it, breaking the finger thinking it was a chess piece. The Russian Federation of Chess says it’s his fault for breaking safety rules. The boy did finish the match after getting a cast put on his fingers. His parents are talking about taking legal action. Of course, it’s Russia where creating evil robots is a time honored tradition, so………..

Actually, it’s Russia. Why wasn’t the kid playing against a bear like everyone else? Were all the bears too drunk on Vodka that day?
