Ice cream is healthier than you think! A new study, which spent 3 years studying over 8,000 different kinds of food and drink, is suggesting that eating ice cream in the morning would be healthier than eating a bagel. And not the strawberry or chocolate chip bagels smothered in cream cheese. They tested the ice cream against multigrain bagels! They did a ranking on the nutritional value of foods where 100 is best and 1 is worst. Ice cream with nuts and chocolate scored a 37. Multigrain bagel with raisins came in at 19. With raisins which are supposed to be super good, aren’t they?
They gave a 100 to spinach and broccoli. Other notables are olive oil with 81, low salt peanut butter has an 86, and baked salmon at 93. Ramen noodles, which happens to be one of my favorite foods got a measly 1.
