Good news, eating grapes could add 4 to 5 years to your life. Bad news, it only works if you’re already taking years off by eating fast food all the time. Studies at Western New England University found that grapes help flush out the refined fats and sugars found in junk and processed foods. They did the study on mice, but found that eating grapes helped keep their livers from getting as fatty as mice who didn’t eat grapes. On top of that, the mice had higher amounts of antioxidant genes. That’s different than antioxidants. The genes work better in your body…… because of some science stuff that is above my pay grade. Even further, they found that eating the grapes had positive effects on the cognition in mice. Of course that’s a low bar to begin with, but sill. The study didn’t specify what kind of grapes, but I like green best.
Grapes might be great for your liver.
