Welcome to all the students moving in for the Fall semester! I remember it as being really exciting. What’s my roommate going to be like? Did he bring carpet or will I have to buy some at the auction of stuff people left behind last year. Whatever it’s like for you, be glad that it’s not the kind of exciting that students at a Texas A & M dorm encountered. Many had moved all of their stuff into their rooms when somebody’s parent somehow hit one of the fire sprinklers. That set them all off. It flooded the place. Got a compute out in the open. Time for a new one. Was that an expensive phone sitting on a desk? Rice ain’t saving it. I hope no one had their school books out in the open. That would be hundreds of dollars of wet paper.
