Blood is being grown in a lab and tested on humans. Side effects include infections, nausea, and vampirism.

A company was given the okay to make lab grown meat a couple weeks ago. That’s hard to stomach for most people I’ve talked to. But what about blood grown in a lab? Would you feel less weird about using that? British scientists have grown blood cells and tested them on patients. Not only did the patients receive blood grown in a lab, but it was also slightly radioactive. Don’t worry, it doesn’t come out that way. They wanted to track it in the patients’ bodies and see how long the blood lasted.

The obvious upside is help will injuries and transfusions. More importantly, they’re on track to grow blood for people with rare types. And, it could last longer than donated blood because donations contain old and new cells. The lab grown stuff would always be new cells.
Also, I made up those side effects. It’s comedy. Side effects of my comedy include, but aren’t limited to, groans.
