All those fun Jack Black and Lizzo videos on Tik Tok might be going away. Marc Rubio is trying to push a bill through that would ban Tik Tok in the United States. He’s worried about the fact that China owns Tik Tok and all the talk about how China is using it to spy on and control our minds or something like that. Tik Tok wouldn’t be the only service banned. The bill would ban any service that is from countries we don’t get along with like Russia, Iran, and Cuba if the service has over a million users.
Don’t worry if they take Tik Tok away. There are a LOT of alternatives. Instagram Reels has the most people on it after Tik Tok. There’s also one called Triller that supposedly has a lot of celebrity content. The one called Firework which is supposed to be like Tik Tok, but more adult.
