The latest National Weather Service outlook is calling for a chance of rain or drizzle between 9am and noon Monday for the Lincoln area. Rain is forecast after noon with a high near 39. The chance of precipitation is 80% with new precipitation amounts between a tenth and a quarter of an inch possible.
Monday overnight is predicted to be rain likely before 5 am, then rain or freezing rain likely. Cloudy, with a low around 29. Northeast wind 7 to 13 mph becoming northwest after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 23 mph. The chance of precipitation is 70% with little or no ice accumulation expected.
On Tuesday there is a 30 percent chance of snow before noon followed by mostly cloudy skies and a high near 35. Northwest wind 10 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph.
