Here’s the latest on what happened to Jeremy Renner and that snow plow. His spokesperson said he went into ICU because of blunt force trauma to the chest and orthopedic injuries. The mayor of Reno, where Jeremy lives, says that it happened while he was helping a stranded motorist. She says she and Jeremy are friends and that she was called to the house shortly after the accident. She added that he is always helping others.
From everything else I can gather, he was somehow run over by a plow he was using to help the stranded person. I can only guess that perhaps he put it in park and got out to help the other person with something and it started sliding. It was near Mt. Rose highway. It could have been on a slope in icy weather. That’s just speculation. Either way, it sound like it probably broke some ribs, maybe punctured something and really tore up his leg. A neighbor who’s a doctor, got there in time to apply a tourniquet that probably saved his life. Jeremy was airlifted to the hospital. He’s already had 2 operations and is still in critical condition.
