A sculptor from Omaha is going to be the first African American to have work displayed in Washington at the National Statuary Hall Collection. His name is Littleton Alston. He creates a broad range of statues of notable African American in sports, politics and writers as well as historical figures from a past before America. He had a collection based on Hannibal the conqueror.
