If your kids, out of the blue, tell you that your favorite celebrity just died, they’re pranking you for Tik Tok. It’s one of the latest challenges and trends that teens are doing. They get someone to secretly roll video while they act like they just heard the news of your favorite celeb dying.
The point is to get goofy responses out of their parents. And then, of course, they post the video. So, if you want to avoid embarrassment because you cried over Rick Astley’s fake death, then be wary of your kids. Maybe we can turn the tables. Get your spouse to secretly run video while you tell the kids you lost your job and now they can’t go to college. Oh, that’ll be a laugh fest, won’t it! Then tell them you’re joking. You lost the money gambling.
