Can we talk about the clothes everyone wore on the red carpet for the Grammy’s? I don’t want to sound out of touch, but, does anyone dress like it’s an event with awards honoring the best of the best anymore? By that, I mean a nicely cut suit or classy dress. Yes, I realize that there’s been meat dresses and that lack of fabric thing that J-Lo once wore, but they used to be the exception. It felt like the rule this year.
I didn’t recognize Shania Twain. I saw that Ronald McDonald colored hair and the giant polka dot outfit with that giant hat and thought it was somebody dressed like a cow or a “Eat Mor Chikin’” stunt. Cardi B’s dress looked great from the waist down. I don’t know what was happening up top. It was like she was being attacked by rogue ocean wave. Sam Smith with his burlesque show entourage……. Actually, I kind of expected that. I didn’t expect his outfit to look like it came off a curtain rod. Lizzo’s cape was another example of waaaaay too much material. Blac China’s dress made it look liked she was being attacked by a murder of crows. And apparently Doja Cat has something against eyebrows.
