Nebraska baseball’s weekend home series will have a few changes from the original schedule.

The Huskers were set to host Nicholls, with one game each day on Thursday to Sunday. Now, the series will drop a game and move to Kansas State’s Tointon Family Stadium in Manhattan, Kan., to avoid the forecasted weather conditions in Lincoln.

The series will also shift when the games are played. Thursday’s first pitch has been moved up to 11 a.m. CDT, while Friday will now have a double-header beginning at 2:30 p.m. CDT. The double-header will feature a seven-inning game followed by a nine-inning game.

Fans attending the games in Manhattan will enjoy free admission and free parking. Those not able to attend can hear the entire series on the Huskers Radio Network, including 1400 AM and 99.3 FM in Lincoln.

Ticket holders to this weekend’s games will be refunded following the season.
