A recent bank robbery in California had hallmarks of a Hollywood movie. There was an armed and desperate robber with nothing to lose. There was a mysterious man from his past. And there were…………. Hugs.
Michael Armus Jr. was depositing a check when a man came into the bank and passed a note to a teller that said he had explosives. Michael recognized the man as a former next door neighbor. And then he asked him what’s wrong. The bank robber said there’s nothing in the town for him and that he just wanted to go to prison. So Michael talked to him with words of comfort and got the robber to go outside the bank where he gave him a big hug. Shortly after, police showed up and the robber gave himself up peacefully.
And that’s how I expect Fast and Furious movies to go from now on; everyone huggin’ it out………. While driving cars off the Eiffel tower and landing on helicopters.
