One of the creepiest toys from the 90s is back. Say hello to the new and improved Furby! It’s the 25th anniversary, so Hasbro is putting them back on the shelves. Now they react to pats on the head and hugs. They still speak Furbish, that language that apparently only ancient demons understand, but they also come with an “off” switch now. That way, they can’t suddenly wake up out of nowhere in the middle of the night……. giant eyes snapping wide open, walking softly and slowly towards your bed as you sleep, making their little Furbish sounds right before they open their beaks and…….
Did I mention their ears can light up now too?
The eyes still blink and are gigantic like the old versions. The new Furbies cost $70. I saw an ad that said to check them out on Amazon for Prime day today, but I couldn’t find any special deals. They should be available at retail stores now too.
