At least something good is coming out of the Cardi B fiasco last weekend. That microphone she threw at a fan is being auctioned off and the proceeds are going to charity. The mic belongs to an audio production company called The Wave In Sin City. They say the proceeds will be split between The Wounded Warrior Project and Friendship Circle Las Vegas. I say, if Cardi were smart, she’d toss (pun intended) some money into the pot for the charities as well.
You can bid on it at E-bay. Yes, people still use E-bay. The mic still works, not that Cardi was actually using it. Yeah, I said it. Watch the video. She was lip syncing. Starting bid was set at $500. When I checked this morning, it was already up to $85,000. The auction is open until next Tuesday.
