In the Barbie movie, one of the Barbies isn’t like the rest. She’s got messy hair, acts goofy, and wears different clothing. She’s the Weird Barbie. And Weird Barbie has so much of a following now that Mattel is releasing a Weird Barbie doll. It looks exactly like the character in the movie played by Kate McKinnon. It’s also posable.
The Weird Barbie is kind of like a limited offer. They’re going to be made to order. So, they’ll make as many as people order, but you can only put in an order until midnight on August 18th. They will also come with a certificate of authenticity and in a special Barbie The Movie style box. The price is $50 and don’t plan on getting in time for Christmas. They’ll ship near the end of May next year. But that should be in time for the inevitable sequel to the movie.
