A traffic stop by the Lancaster County Criminal Interdiction Unit ended with a New Jersey man behind bars.  Chief Deputy Ben Houchin says 31 year old Cecil Marshall was stopped by deputies  for following to close just before 2:00 Monday afternoon on I-80 just west of the I-180 exit.

“They did see small particles of marijuana all over the vehicle and had they did have Mr. Marshall exit the vehicle,” Houchin says.  A probable cause search was conducted and they found 61 grams of powdered cocaine and 145 grams of ecstasy in tablet form in a black nylon bag in the cargo area of the Durango.

Marshall was arrested for possession of cocaine with intent to deliver, manufacturing ecstasy and possession of money in violation of state law.  Houchin says Marshall had more than $800 cash on him and it tested positive for drugs.
