AI scans Shroud of Turin, creates realistic pic of face. See it in blog.

A few months ago, someone got an AI to come up with what it thinks Jesus would look like based on some history and physical traits of people living in Jerusalem and other other biblical areas of that time. I thought it did a pretty realistic job. Now, the Daily Star newspaper used an AI to scan the Shroud Of Turin to create a picture of Jesus.

I think it looks like Jarod Leto.

We’re talking the long face, scraggly long hair, and a scraggly looking beard. The eyes look half asleep as well. Total Jarod Leto face.

And I don’t wish to get into a religious discussion, but in 1988, experts at Oxford, Zurich, and Arizona Universities carbon dated a piece of the shroud and date it at between the years of 1260 and 1390. That’d make it kind of hard for the cloth to have been wrapped around Jesus. Ergo, not his face.

You know what would be really cool. If they could find the Baby Blanket Of Jesus with his cute little baby face imprinted on it. That’s be such a better look than a scraggly beard.
