Doritos announced 4 new flavors coming soon. I usually get pretty excited when I hear that a name brand food has new flavors coming out. Buuuuut……….. the past couple years, every new flavor is “hot”, “flaming”, or some variation of powder that’s so spice that you don’t actually taste anything. That includes the new Doritos flavors: Flamin’ Hot Queso, Smoky Chile Queso, Tangy Fiery Lime, and Hot Honey Mustard. All super hot, but I do like the extra cheese aspect. Speaking of hot cheese……..
A couple weeks ago, Jenny had left over cheese from a charcuterie board in the fridge. I was looking for a late night snack, so I garbed a slice without reading the label. 5 seconds later I was gasping and coughing. The cheese had bits of Carolina Reaper Ghost Peppers in it. They’re the hottest pepper in the world. I should have checked the label. But who expects their spouse to have Reaper Ghost Cheese casually set on a shelf in the fridge and not warn you about it? We ended up having a good laugh about it, after I drank half a gallon of milk. 
Jenny took the rest of the cheese to work, melted it over some noodles, and had it for lunch. Show off.
