Purple hair is so 2012. All the cool people have Velveeta colored hair now. Yes, you can turn your curly locks into something that looks like rotini smothered in whatever that kind of golden hue that Velveeta is. The makers of the pasteurized cheese substance has released a semi-permanent hair dye called Velveeta Gold.
Julia Fox, the host of “OMG Fashun” dyed her hair with it. The color is so real that I wanted to dip her head in a bucket of Rotel, warm it up in the microwave and grab some tortilla chips. Her head looks yummy!
Also, as a bonus, a box of the dye is just $7.50. That’s cheaper than the actual Velveeta which is somewhere around the same price as gold right now. Seriously, I haven’t been able to afford Velveeta since 2010. I’ve had to substitute caviar in my recipes.
