The latest viral food trend is called a “Fluffy Coke”. You smear Jet Puffed marshmallow stuff all around the inside of a glass. Then you toss a bunch of ice in. Next, fill it with Coca Cola and stir. It checks all the boxes to be viral: easy to do, inexpensive, and something that everyone can safely pretend to love. I say that because I’ve run across lots of video of people doing it and then saying it was either “meh” or “too sugary”.
But, as you know, I’ll try anything. And if I don’t like it, I’ll have a couple sips of rum and then go to work experimenting with the recipe until I do like it. Speaking of rum, I have a feeling that substituting half the amount of Cola with Dark Rum might fix that “too sweet” thing.
Other possible changes: coconut, pop rocks mixed with the marshmallow, orange juice instead of Coke. I’m going to have to open up my experimental kitchen this weekend and go to work on this. Update to come.
