“Dancing With The Stars” is becoming Dancing with the Criminals in the new season. Anna Sorokin will be dancing and wearing an ankle bracelet while she does it. Anna is the woman who pretended to be a rich heiress and used the con to steal millions of dollars from banks, hotels, and rich socialites.
Anna has never been in a movie or on TV. She’s never played a sport. Her claim to fame is that she stole millions, spent time in jail, and Netflix made a movie about her starring Julia Garner, the feisty gal on “Ozark”.
Anna, by the way, may also be deported to Germany where she came from at any time. That’s why she’s wearing the ankle bracelet. Anna was put under house arrest while she fights the deportation.
She’s also trying to stay in the fashion world. She’s involved with New York Fashion week events this month in a collaboration with Porn Hub.
So, apparently being a criminal is all the rage now. I expect to see “Survivor: Devil’s Island” and “Are You Smarter Than A Crack Fiend.” I’m pretty sure this is how the Roman Empire began to collapse.
