Costco has plans to build apartments into their stores. You know how we have complexes around Lincoln where the first floor is retail space? It’s like that. Costco has plans to build a store with 800 rental spaces above it.
Just think of it! It’ll be a quick elevator ride to the food court for some of them super cheap hot dog meals. It could be an everyday thing! Or, who needs the hassle of getting dressed and walking all that way to an elevator. There’s going to be delivery right to your door……. From downstairs.
They’re tearing down an old hospital in Los Angeles to make this happen.
It’s also going to have secure parking, multiple courtyards, community gardens, a pool on the roof, basketball courts, and playground equipment.
