Bridgerton fans scammed out of lots of money.

Remember last February when some company advertised a big, fun filled Willy Wonka experience for kids. Then is turned out to be terrible; a big scam. It was pretty much a big mostly empty room.

Well, someone advertised an event called “The Queen’s Ball: A Bridgerton Experience” that was supposed to happen yesterday. It sounds amazing with fine wine and food, a play, live music, a cash prize for the best costume, and dancing.  They charged up to $1,000 a ticket.

Yeah, the dancing………. There was a stripper on a pole there. The food, which one person said was raw, ran out right away. Another said the drinks were blue Hawaiian Punch served in cheap Family Dollar glasses. There weren’t any prizes. Another person posted, “It was absolutely HORRENDOUS. There was nowhere to sit. Although the venue was nice, the decor was sparse and extremely tacky.” Also, local vendors had booths set up selling things that had nothing to do with Bridgerton.

The company that put it together released the usual statement of, “We’re sorry it didn’t meet people’s expectations.” What I think the people attending would like to hear is, “We’re sorry we stole your money. We’re giving it back and going to jail.”
