Tea and red wine help your brain from aging. It’s all about the flavonoids according a big study.

They’re looking into if flavonoid rich foods can help keep Alzheimer’s at bay.

Researchers kept tabs on what kind of foods with flavonoids inside that hundreds of thousands of people ate. People got various point scores based on that.

The most significant reduction of the onset of dementia was with people who at two of the following per day: 5 servings of tea, 1 serving of red wine, and/or half a serving of berries.

They also saw a significant reduction in dementia with people who have increased genetic risk. That means, it offset some of the genetic risk.

Not for nothin’ but flavonoids also increase blood flow to the brain.
