A friend spent $800 to reserve an Air BNB and $1,800 on the Pink VIP package for this last weekend. He did it as an anniversary/ birthday present for his wife. Instead of Pink, we spent 5 hours Sunday at Lazlo’s in the Haymarket having dinner, drinks, and catching up.
My apologies to Lazlo’s. We were the couples that were at a table from 3 to 8 yesterday, but we hadn’t seen them in 5 years.
Around 7, a group of 9 women came in, wearing lots of shiny clothing. I knew it had something to do with the Pink concert. They had driven all the way from Colorado Springs Saturday. They didn’t find out about the concert getting postponed until they got here. They stayed the weekend anyway and got dressed up in their concert outfits for dinner.
10 minutes later another couple of ladies came in and heard us talking about Pink from their table. These two had flown in from Salt Lake City on Saturday. They found out about the concert via a text from a friend in Omaha……. While they were on the runway getting ready to take off. They’re still here through today so we gave them suggestions on things to do like the Children’s Zoo.
