Don’t risk your life for a stupid phone. A 23 year old woman got stuck between boulders in Australia because she’d dropped her phone. And not just stuck, but upside down……. For SEVEN hours.
I know you’re thinking “boulders, it must have been on a mountain”. But no. It’s Australia. Everything is weird there. These are giant boulders, thousands of pounds, just sitting on flat land. I don’t know, maybe Chris Hemsworth carried them there as part of a work out. Either way, they’re big and tall and the woman got wedged in.
She was so stuck that the emergency rescue team had to move 6 of the boulders to get to her. And she got stuck at an angle. They couldn’t just pull her straight out by her feet. The area she fell into was at an angle: legs went one way, torso the other. And they had to remove the boulders just right or else they might have collapsed and it would have become the messiest game of Jenga ever.
She’s okay now, but when they pulled her out, she couldn’t walk for a while because so much blood had went from her legs to her head.
