Kraft Mac N Cheese being sued!!!

By Austin Michael Nov 15, 2024 | 6:25 PM

Kraft Mac and Cheese is being sued in a class action suit!

A judge just ruled that Kraft Heinz must go to court because they’re being accused of making false claims. At the core is the fact that the Mac N Cheese claims not to have any artificial preservatives. Buuuuuuuuuuut, the judge says there’s a plausible argument that they’re big fat liars because they use a synthetic form of citric acid as well as phosphates.

Just a side note. If you take anything that is a “re-hydration” supplement, you’re sucking down a ton of phosphates. Also eggs, chocolate, and soft drinks. Adults need 700 milligrams of phosphates every day to maintain normal blood levels. They help fight urinary tract infections and are literally essential to creating DNA in your body.

Anyway, some people think that’s a bad thing. As if Macaroni and Cheese could ever be anything but heaven.

The plaintiffs are seeking damages for fraud, unjust enrichment, and violations of state consumer protection laws.

Just another FYI. Someone in Florida tried to sued Kraft Mac and Cheese in 2023 for $5 million, because the time the box said it takes to heat it up in the microwave didn’t match what they were doing. That one was tossed.
