Man Killed in Downtown Crash Identified

By Mark Vail Nov 30, 2024 | 10:13 AM

Lincoln Police have identified the 57-year-old man who was killed early Saturday morning near 12th and O Street.

LPD says just before 6:00 the vehicle driven by John Hagle was eastbound on O between 12th & 13th when it crossed over the westbound lanes then struck the north curb and a tree.

Hagle was taken to the hospital where he later died.  Public Information Officer Erika Thomas says there were no skid marks prior to the crash and investigators have not been able to determine if drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash.
