I’m going to take a moment to relay some really sad news. Jack Hoffman has passed away from pediatric cancer. We were all wowed and inspired when he first stepped into the national spotlight during the Nebraska Spring game of 2013, running his way to a touchdown with the help of Rex Burkhead and the rest of the Huskers. Since then, Jack and his family have touched so many lives through their Team Jack foundation and Team Jack radiothons throughout the years.
It’s been my honor, as well as everyone else here at B107.3 and Broadcast House to have been able to work with them in fighting pediatric brain cancer.
As you may know, Jack’s father, Andy passed away a couple of years ago from brain cancer. I can’t imagine the pain his family has dealt with through the years and now. I offer my deepest condolences. It’s hard to find the words.
