The 2024 Razzie Nominations are out and Brooke and I have placed our coffee bets on which will be the Worst Picture winner.
The Golden Raspberry Awards, commonly known as the Razzies, are a parody award show that honors the worst in film. Often the same names come up year after year, so who is the Razziest of them all?
Madonna is notable among actresses with six Worst Actress nominations and three Worst Supporting Actress nominations.
Nicolas Cage has five Worst Actor nominations, despite also having an Oscar.
John Travolta has eight nominations, including for “Battlefield Earth.”
Kevin Costner has seven Worst Actor nominations, mainly for films like “Waterworld” and “The Postman.”
Adam Sandler follows with 12 Worst Actor nominations and one Worst Actress nomination for his role in “Jack and Jill.”
Sylvester Stallone leads with 15 Worst Actor nominations and three Worst Supporting Actor nominations.
While none of these luminaries(?) are nominated this year, they hold a special place in Razzie’s history. The 45th Razzie’s will be announced Saturday, March 1, 2025.
