Friday means new movies in the theater! Including the return of Mel Gibson as a director after a long absence. Is the famed director of Passion of the Christ and Braveheart returning with a hit or a miss?
Gibson’s film is called “Flight Risk”, The story follows a pilot (played by Mark Wahlberg) who is transporting a U.S. Marshal (Michelle Dockery) and a government witness (Topher Grace) across the Alaskan wilderness. As they journey, tensions rise and trust is tested, as not everyone on board is who they seem.
The early reviews are pretty rough with Rotten Tomatoes showing it with a Tomatometer rating of just 27%. Critics and audiences don’t always agree so we will see if that can recover over the weekend.
