It has been a delight to see the return and rejuvenation of Ke Huy Quan, from child actor forgotten to Academy Award Winner. Now he takes a step toward the action genre with his first leading role since “Everything Everywhere All at Once”

The story follows Marvin Gable (played by Ke Huy Quan), a former hitman-turned-realtor, whose past catches up with him when his brother, Alvin “Knuckles” Gable, starts hunting him. Marvin reunites with his former partner, Rose (Ariana DeBose), whom he once saved instead of killing.
I am cautiously optimistic and hope it can be a fun bit of escapism. However, early reviews are not encouraging, after 77 critics reviews, it sits at a concerning 22% on Rotten Tomatoes
