Meet Landon James Gilmore, better known as Happy Gilmore. Yep, you read that right! This young golfer from Bloomington, Indiana, earned his nickname “Happy” after winning a long-drive contest at just nine years old.

Talk about starting strong! His name is a nod to the hilarious Adam Sandler character from the 1996 movie “Happy Gilmore,” and he’s been living up to it ever since.

Happy recently committed to play college golf at Ball State University, and his journey has been nothing short of impressive. From junior tournaments to high school championships, he’s been swinging his way to the top and showing everyone that he’s got what it takes to be a star.

But wait, there’s more! Happy has teamed up with Arby’s for a super fun collaboration called the “Birdies & Beef Collection.” This partnership features golf-themed merch like polos, hats, and golf balls, all decked out with Arby’s crinkle fries, curly fries, and Beef ‘N Cheddar sandwiches.

And to celebrate, Arby’s is offering a buy-one-get-one deal on their Beef ‘N Cheddar sandwiches from April 7 to April 13. Perfect timing for a tasty treat after a round of golf.

Happy is thrilled about this partnership, and who wouldn’t be? He gets to combine his love for golf with his love for Arby’s sandwiches. It’s a win-win! This collaboration is not just about the merch; it’s about bringing a fun and unique twist to the golf world and connecting with fans in a whole new way.

So, what do you think of Happy’s journey and his awesome partnership with Arby’s? It’s a great example of how athletes can creatively use their name and image to build cool partnerships and engage with fans.
