So, there was a 5.2 earthquake in San Diego County on April 14, 2025, and the elephants at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park had the coolest reaction! 
Elephants’ Epic Response In the video above, you can see the elephants, including Ndlula, Umngani, Khosi, and the little ones Zuli and Mkhaya, forming an “alert circle” to protect the young ones.
Elephants’ Super Senses Apparently, elephants can feel sound through their feet, which is probably why they reacted so quickly. After a few minutes, they calmed down but stayed close together.
