You might want to start your Christmas shopping for kids now. Mattel’s CEO was on the news this morning talking about raising prices on all of their toys because of tariffs. And, it’s been my experience that when a company says, “Oh hey, we MIGHT be charging you more. You know, just a thought”, that they mean they are definitely going to hike the cost. Also, their stock value has dropped nearly 20% in the last month. So…….. they’re probably going to need you to shell out more for some Hot Wheels or Barbie dolls.
That said, I was able to track down videos on Do It Yourself Barbie Dolls. They’re not going to be exactly like the Mattel version, but they might do in a pinch. Plus, you’ll be able to say that you put your own love into creating them. Here’s that video.
