If there’s a tornado just a couple of blocks away and your dog is still outside, would you run outside to save it? Would you open the front door and yell for it to come inside? That’s what one of my wife’s friends did a couple nights ago.
Jenny’s hometown is Grinnell, Kansas. A, EF-3 tornado whacked it pretty good Monday night. With that EF-3 literally just down the road with torrential winds and sideways rain, her friend held open his front door and yelled for his dog to get inside. Just opening the door to begin with took an effort. Once he gets the door open, you can see this giant funnel just across the street plowing over a farm field.
Oh yeah, the world is able to experience this event through his eyes because he also thought to himself, “Why not pull out my phone and roll video too………..you know, while the EF-3 tornado is bearing down on me.”
Thankfully he and the pup are safe. As is his house. The tornado veered off in a different direction. But, at the start of the video, it kind of looks like it’s coming to get him. One might wonder if the large statue of Mary on his porch might have been looking over him……… while rolling her eyes.
